Best TEN Picks | January 2019
Taking toy photos has become a mass medium content in social media particularly through Flickr, Instagram, and other platforms that let you upload your content. There have been so many good images to come out there that rarely given the spotlight to inspire others to the fold.
We’ve been fortunate enough to see these talented content creators sharing their narrative through their #ONESHOTSTORY and simply put that some are breaking the mold which is good. Bending the rules like the fabric of reality in some odd sci-fi story that takes you into a whole lot of world mostly your creation and these ten photos makes the count for that reason…
Brian DeLore is one of those Star Wars fans who lives in a place that have snow and it is the best place to use that kind season to his advantage in making good photography. This might inspire some who lives in those places that brave the coldness of the winter season. It’s quite natural to see how he uses the situation as part of his composition you can’t replace that kind of set up there.
Max Lye likes to tell a story through his weird geeky characters, but giving everyone nightmares to start the year seem to be early for Halloween. Three bears to stay away when that season arrive and this is the reason why Max’s composition takes notice just don’t dream it.
Mike Garcia another Toy Photographer who lives in a place there’s snow and takes full advantage of the setting for his latest image for this month. It gives you the chills why you’d rather stay indoors on a warm fire place or heated ventilation rather faces this unholy terror on your own.
Matthew Cohen have so many good photos that he posted in the group it is challenging to pick the best, but this one certainly bends the rules of a #ONESHOTSTORY at the same time creating his unique style of composition expressing each of the character’s emotion. You can’t get wrong without seeing Dragon ball Z or its previous iteration featuring these memorable character duking it out.
Kyle Smith’s new entry to the community shows cuteness can cross the bounds of fiction and making the character look like it existed in this plain of our reality. Groot’s youthful look coupled with a good selfie nearby Seattle’s iconic space needle surely gives you good vibes, indeed.
Arvin Trinidad is a legend in his own right and has been part of this community having been in and out of the group has been sharing his photos during the early days. Now, the way he shares his work invokes maturity with Hulk just showing no action but gives you emotion is something you’ll know that he has been doing it for almost a decade already.
Joseph Cowlishaw shares his story about Ant-Man using just practical use of ordinary things with minimal image manipulation. To think Ant-Man was a freebie in that bag of chips must be something we wish, but unfortunately this is where our imagination runs wild that he’s hiding from us.
Willys Subagyo doesn’t need the flair only to remind you that a “War Alone” is quite deep as the composition of a black and white image. The concept is simple and you’ll understand why if you’re an artist like Willys and he does make it look good on this one.
George Amurao has been into G.I. Joe now crossing over to other 1:18 scales figures, but there’s nothing like the Real America Heroes when you7 tell a story. Rarely, you see someone used Joes as subject for their photography and George is one of the active ones to remind us that the highly trained soldiers are not done yet.
KC Shum has been part of the group and keeps the consistency of using cars as his subject. They are impressive and sometimes you don’t need image manipulation to make them move. Just the right angle makes it an impressive shot right there.
Rounding out the best images for January 2019 and fear not for those who did not make the cut you'll get your chance next month!
