While everyone was either spending the first few months trying to create their concepts and going outdoors to shoot compiling their latest compositions. There are some getting to find interest crossing interest to other toy brands at the same time most have been keeping an eye for this year’s New York Toy Fair for the latest action figures that might catch their attention to use in their next toy shoot.
For the month of February 2019 there has been plenty of news in and outside the hobby. Ben Affleck announcing officially that he will no longer wear the iconic cowl as Batman and there are others who suddenly just shared some of the interesting close-up photos of their favourite subject.
Interesting enough the ones who have been consistent has been into taking photos of their action figures and so this might be thematically unofficial a “close-up” set of #TENBESTPICKS for the month where there’s none have posted any Valentine-related image.
But a toothpaste brand in the Philippines named “Close-Up” has got to be related for the month as the TV commercials feature two people getting close with that smile unrelated to what this selection of photos is all about.

Doker Meyo has so many photos shared in the month of February 2019 that he had mostly forgot to read the Community Guidelines on how to post his image directly that he got too much of a good thing. But that doesn’t mean all his photos will be noted as chosen as there will be one image that will stand out that will get featured.

Michael David is consistent with sharing his works there’s too many to choose from. But these Turtles appear to come to life with his execution and NECA’s life like aesthetic convincingly make this imaginative concept seem like it appeared in film, but the truth is it wasn’t but only in his idea that makes this on the list.
Labo Maraviles shot this outdoors in a park seemed too normal, but the quality of the image makes the count on how you bring your toys to life with vibrant colors with minor image manipulation. The added “Peace” Sign surely adds a lively smile on this figure’s perspective.
Mark Gatus wants you to know Frankenstein lives under his bed, and to prove his theory he made us believe that this monster really exist in that same reason there’s a portal there where they dwell makes this a close up look on the quality he puts on his composition here.
Jerry Rodriguez plays a lot of colors and makes a “Frozen Image” move to your imagination and he does this quite impressive with Deadpool carrying a bazooka is a flawless motion that takes action in this simple but direct composition.
Rohaidi LoCase set pieces on his diorama is action packed but sometimes too much effects kind of lose the natural flow of the image, but this one still one of the best shots to ever shared in the community and its all good where the Punisher swings his fist to the bad guys.
Hilmy Taufik shares his close up on one of his precious action figures where the details and aesthetics is seen where not usually notices when they just display them. Hilmy takes this figure outdoors for this show showing little to less image manipulation to give you a natural look on this character.
Mike Garcia joins the unofficial theme of close-up image of how a nightmare fuel means to those who never get a decent sleep. The details on this figure’s face clearly shows how toy manufacturers really take a close look and adapt the aesthetics to this one awesome shot.
